Kent Bailey and Kimberly Brill were finally granted a chance to sit down with Le Roux—albeit with restrictions—in Novem- ber 2012. They left their Minneapolis offices at the DEA and flew back to New York. As they sat waiting for Le Roux's arrival in the fifth-floor room of the Manhattan courthouse, Brill was nervous, not knowing what to expect from the man she'd been circling for more than five years. When he was escorted in, Le Roux was polite but guarded at first, seemingly unhappy with the prospect of an- other quizzing.
